At John E Monk we have perfected our bespoke and made-to-measure services over more than 45 years and have clients across Liverpool, Cheshire, Manchester, and the North West. With many clients returning from further afield to get the service and suits that they have been accustomed to.
From styling, fabric, lining, and trims our suit tailoring process allows our customers to design the finest detail, with a 6-8 week turnaround time.

Bespoke Shirts
Our bespoke shirts are made to ensure that the feel and comfort are of the highest quality. When our tailors are crafting away, you can be ensured that you receive the time, effort, and skill in the whole process.
All measurements are completed in one fitting and are carried out slightly differently then you would receive a fitting for a suit!
Choose from our high quality materials made from 100% wool, cotton or linen.
Bespoke Shirts start from £180.
Turnaround times vary, but are usually 4 weeks.
Bespoke Overcoats
At John E. Monk Tailors, we use our extensive knowledge and expertise to craft some of the finest Bespoke overcoats there is. We use only the highest quality materials from Great Britain to create our pieces of work.
We offer a wide range of colours and materials to choose from in shop, all to keep you warm from the iconic cold British weather our country is known for.

Turnaround time is 4-6 weeks.
Consultation & Measurement
At the initial consultation we will discuss your options and you will be carefully measured and a pattern will be created that is unique to your specific body shape and perfectly fits your physique. Whether you need direction, or know exactly the cut, style and finish you are long for you can be sure that you will get the garment that you want.

Creating a truly bespoke suit, a one off, unique to you, customization is an essential part of a stunning bespoke suit. You will be guided and advised through your options to ensure that you create a one off garment that is unique to you and that you will love to wear.

Fitting
At John E Monk your bespoke suit will require two or three fittings as each stage of the build is measured, checked and fitted to your specific body shape and nuances. Rather than a made to measure suit (which are adapted from pre-cut patterns) this is where years of tailoring experience make all of the difference. At John E Monk we take specific care of your build, stance, shoulders or back or gait to ensure the suit is fitted and tailored to a precise shape that is perfect for you.
